Shipping and Move-In

2014 Brings FREE drayage back again! Yes, you read that right!

We're happy to announce that again there will be no material handling charges at C2E2 2014 for onsite shipping! Bring your car, box truck, trailer or van to McCormick and the move in costs (drayage/material handling) are on us.

So how does it work? Simple, just drive or ship your Booth materials to the Marshaling Yard at McCormick Place (address: 2900 South Moe Drive, Chicago, IL 60616 – click here for MAP) and you will be assisted in getting your materials onto the Show Floor. At the Marshaling Yard we will determine the fastest and best way to move you in. We will be using both Show labor and the McCormick based ASUV program to move you in free of charge.

This program is offered during all hours of move-in and move-out and is open to all types of vehicles from POV's, box trucks and tractor trailers.

Move-In Times

Wednesday, April 23 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Thursday, April 24 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Click here for a targeted floor plan displaying where you can park to unload your materials. We want to give you the best chance to be as close to your Booth as possible. You will be given specific directions and on where to go once you check into the Marshaling Yard.

Unfortunately there are some exceptions to the rules:

  1. If you ship your items in advance to the warehouse there will be a charge for these items – please click here for the rate schedule
  2. Any/all items shipped to either the Hyatt Hotel or the McCormick Place Business Center will be charged based on their fees
  3. Shipments arriving prior to April 23, 2014, may be refused and/or incur a storage fee

For questions on the program, please feel free to contact the C2E2 Operation Manager directly to help you in deciding what method works best for you – Skip Haile, 203.840.5912 or shaile@reedexpo.com.

Where do I go for this Program?

Be on the lookout for the C2E2 signage directing you to the correct area to check in. Once you check in you will receive a dock pass with instructions on where you are to go to unload and load your materials.

What is a Targeted Floor Plan?

The Targeted Floor Plan allows you to park as close to your Booth as possible giving you the ability to walk items over to your Booth quicker. While we may not be able to get you right next to your Booth, we will make every effort to get you moved in as close and quickly as possible.

How does move-out work?

After you have packed up your materials there will be a sign-in area at the Exhibitor Service Center for assisted labor during move-out. At the Exhibitor Service Center you will need to complete the required form (bill of lading). You will receive your dock pass and can proceed straight to your assigned dock.

NOTE: Labor will be provided to bring your materials from your Booth to the loading dock.
