Do I get a free badge to C2E2?
Yes! We really appreciate the time all of our speakers take out of their day to participate in our programming. All approved Speakers of C2E2 will receive a Speaker badge. This badge will give you access to all three days of C2E2, including Professional Only Hours (Friday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM). All you need to do is make sure your speakers are registered with Ali Farina and we will have a badge for them on-site. Any speaker who is not officially listed with your panel will not receive a badge. Please remember that C2E2 can only provide up to 6 speaker badges per panel, including the moderator. Any badges over this amount must be purchased through fan registration or professional registration, if eligible.
Where do I pick up my Speaker badge?
All Speaker Badges may be picked up in the Programming Office, Room W182, as early as Thursday, April 25 at 9:00 AM.
When should I arrive to C2E2?
We ask that you arrive at your panel room 10 minutes prior to the start of your panel. However, your Speaker badge will grant you access to the show all three days so feel free to come early or stay late to enjoy the fun!
How do I get to C2E2?
C2E2 provides free shuttles from the C2E2 hotels and points of interest around Chicago, or you are welcome to drive, take a cab or ride the Metro to the show! More information, including directions, can be found on our Travel page.
Where is my panel room located?
View an awesome C2E2 map of the full building layout. Our standard panel rooms are located on the 4th floor, while the Family Room, Interactive Room and Variant Stage are all located on the 3rd floor.
What AV is in my panel room?
Good question! Each of our panel rooms have slightly different AV sets. Here is a full list of AV sets per room. Please remember that laptops are NOT provided, so you’ll need to bring one with you to the show. If you have a Mac, you’ll need to bring an adaptor.
Can I do a test-run of my panel and AV?
C2E2 builds in fifteen minute breaks before all events, so you should have ample time to setup your equipment and be ready to start your panel on time. If you feel as if you need more time to test your presentation, we have limited availability before the show opens for tech checks. If you wish to schedule an additional tech check, they are assigned on a first come, first served basis. You must prearrange with Ali Farina as soon as possible.
Can I run over my 60 minute panel slot?
Due to the great demand for panel time we have completely packed our schedule this year. As we only have fifteen minutes breaks between sessions, we do ask that you respect the next speaker and end on-time. We will have C2E2 Crew Members give you a 10, 5 and 1 minute warning with nifty time cards to help you stay on track.
Where can I find food at C2E2?
Food is key- we want you all to stay fueled and energized throughout the show! There is a food court on the 2nd floor with plenty of seating that we suggest you use. There will be concessions on the show floor as well, but those are usually packed to the brim with Fans.
What should I do before and after my panel?
Your Speaker badge will grant you access to all aspects and areas of our show, and we encourage you to peek around and enjoy the fun. The Wikia Bar, located in the Hyatt Hotel connected to McCormick, will be a hangout all weekend long for professionals, Fans and of course the C2E2 staff. Stop by, say hi and make sure to try our Official C2E2 Beer the “Galaxy Hero” brewed by Revolution Brewery!
Who should I contact if I have other questions?
We are always here to help- if you have any additional questions, please contact C2E2’s Content Coordinator Ali Farina.
