Sometimes kids just need a place where they can be kids! That’s where the Free Play Area comes in. Parents, take a breather from the busy show floor while your little ones enjoy coloring pages, sidewalk chalk, and plenty of space to run wild. We’ll have hula hoops, jump ropes, and giant connect four so they can play and make new friends!

501st Legion: Midwest Garrison
Meet your favorite Star Wars villains! Hang out with the Midwest Garrison! The Midwest Garrison is the Illinois chapter of The 501st Legion, a Star Wars Imperial costuming club. The 501st is dedicated to the movie-quality costumes of the "villains" of the Star Wars universe. The MWG provides a means for Star Wars fans to meet and network with each other to engage in the hobby of building and improving Imperial costumes from the Star Wars movies. They’ll have costumed characters from the Star Wars universe and awesome Star Wars photo areas for everyone to enjoy in Family HQ.
League of Enchantment
The League of Enchantment is a 501(c)(3) charity and cosplay group located in Chicago and across the Midwest. We endeavor to help bring smiles to kids and kids at heart through our interactions while dressed as popular superheroes, princesses, and pop-cultural characters from comics, books, and film. Our primary mission is to provide the care packages that we make and distribute to kids staying in hospital wards in an attempt to make those stays more bearable while they face the toughest of battles. In addition to collecting books, comics, and toys for our care packages, we provide support for other national charities like JDRF, Tunnels to Towers, Make a Wish, and more with their 5k runs and fundraiser walk efforts.

Experience ChiLUG's exclusive LEGO creations on display and delve into imaginative play in our interactive zones where anyone can build anything. Whether you're a LEGO aficionado or new to building, our play areas offer endless inspiration for all ages.
Cobra Back Foundation
The CobraBack Foundation focuses on community values and growth in an effort to create solutions, unity, and safer neighborhoods. Our goal is to foster a better partnership between Police and those in the communities they serve in. Our foundation host weekly RC Monster Truck races to teach students STEM principles to make learning fun while building bridges within communities. Join us during C2E2 at Family HQ on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to take part in exciting races, enjoy a photo-op with our Amazing Spiderman RC car, and learn about our exciting program.

We're hosting a Free Draw session featuring Fantasy Coloring Sheets at the Family HQ Workshop space on the Show Floor! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a fun way to unwind, this event promises to be a delightful experience. Escape into the realms of fantasy as you bring intricate designs to life with vibrant colors.
This is an independent coloring time. There will be no moderator, please relax and color!
