Fans With Special Needs

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo would like to welcome you to Chicago! We are delighted that you are attending C2E2 2012 and we want to make sure all of our fans including our fans who require special assistance have a truly incredible experience!

Below are some of the highlights of plans that we have established:

McCormick Place: Throughout McCormick Place you will find that they have designed their building to make your visit as productive and comfortable as possible.

Wheelchairs/Motorized Chairs: McCormick Place can also assist fans wishing to rent motorized wheelchairs. Please call Scootaround Mobility Solutions at 888-441-7575 or visit them at www.scootaround.com/rentals/mccormickplace for further information.

Parking: Accessible parking is available in LOT A (located on MLK drive, LOT C and the Hyatt Regency).

Guide Dogs and Service Animals: Are welcome at McCormick Place provided they are trained.

Rest Area: We have a rest area for the disabled, the elderly, fans traveling with small children and parents traveling with our littlest fans.

Cold Storage: We have cold storage available for medications on a first come first service basis located in our show office area. This is available on a first come, first serve basis and space is limited.

Seating: Special limited seating in the special events hall is based on a first come first serve basis .

Registration: We have a special registration counter set up in fan registration for attendees with mobility issues.

Queue Hall: We have a dedicated area for anyone requiring special assistance or mobility requirements for arrival before show opening. Just ask anyone of our team members when you enter McCormick Place and see us wearing our green show shirts

The C2E2 team is committed to making C2E2 the most awesome experience for you and we want you to have a great experience at the show, however there are a few limitations on what we can provide.

For example:

Panels and Screenings: All of our panels are tremendously popular and the rooms fill up quickly, all seating for these programs is on a first come, first served basis and we can not guarantee seating for everyone. What we do encourage you to do is get there early and see one of our volunteers that we have posted outside of the room and they can help answer any questions you may have. Check out the C2E2 Show Planner and Official Program Guide to and map out what events you would like to experience for the day, keeping in mind that all of our events are popular and we want to make sure that you get to see what panel is important to you!

Autographing: Autograph sessions are always limited, so please plan in advance and use the C2E2 Show Planner and Official Program Guide to plan which autographing sessions you would most like to attend.

While we will try and do everything possible on our part to make sure you have the experience you deserve we can not guarantee any seating, autographs or giveaway items.

If you have any questions, stop one of the members of the C2E2 Team, who will be sporting green shirts or one of the members of the awesome volunteer team who will be decked out in yellow.
