C2E2 Rules

  1. You must wear your Badge at all times (and around your neck) while at C2E2.
  2. Be nice, be cool and respect each other. C2E2 has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. Make sure you read our full Anti-Harassment Policy and remember: cosplay is not consent.
  3. C2E2 Staff and Security have the right to ask you to leave C2E2 and refuse to refund the cost of your Badge if you are behaving in an inappropriate manner or seen with a counterfeit or invalid Badge.
  4. Naked is not a costume. Please wear appropriate (or at least enough) clothing while attending C2E2.
  5. We don’t want anyone to trip and get hurt from stumbling over your outstretched feet, so grab a chair instead of the floor to rest.
  6. Please abide by our weapons policy. In the harsh reality of our times, C2E2 Security and local law enforcement officials will treat anything that looks like a real gun as a real gun.
  7. While we don’t want anyone to lose anything, C2E2 is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, or for injuries sustained during the course of C2E2.
  8. Please do not abuse the convention facilities. This includes putting signs on walls or trash anywhere other than a garbage can and smoking in non-designated smoking areas. Basically, treat McCormick Place the way you would if it was Stark Tower and you received a personal invitation from Iron Man.
  9. Announced Events and Guests are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes on the C2E2 website and social media channels as soon as possible, but sometimes changes come in at the last minute.
  10. Now a word from legal… By purchasing a Badge and in consideration for being admitted to C2E2, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual, and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. In other words… C2E2 attracts local, national and international press. By attending C2E2, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera.
