On behalf of the C2E2 team, welcome to the city of Chicago! We are delighted that you are attending this super awesome Event and we want to make sure all of our Fans, including our Fans who require special assistance, have a truly incredible experience!
Our Show Team is committed to making C2E2 the most awesome experience for you, so we put together some key locations and services information. We want you to have a great time at the Show; however, there are a few limitations on what we can provide and what is available within the venue so please read this over and let us know if you have any questions.
C2E2 Medical Badge
Fans that require additional assistance while at C2E2 may be eligible for a C2E2 Medical Badge. Fans that qualify for the C2E2 Medical Badge will also be provided with one additional Medical Badge for one companion and will receive the following:
- A badge which identifies you to the C2E2 Staff and Crew as someone that may need additional assistance
- Access to Panel Rooms on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive to line up for a Panel, please proceed immediately to the Panel Room entrance and speak with the Crew or Staff Member at the door.
- Access to a dedicated area within the Queue Hall for Fans with special needs
- One stop pickup of your C2E2 Badge and C2E2 Medical Badge with our Medical Badge Service Specialist
Note: Fans who purchase Tickets before the mailing deadline will be mailed their C2E2 Badge Only. Please visit the Medical Badge Desk onsite to pick up your C2E2 Medical Badge.
C2E2 Medical Badges do NOT provide:
- Early access to the Show Floor
- Guaranteed access into Panels, Autographing and Special Events
- The ability to skip lines
While we will try and do everything possible on our part to make sure you have the experience you deserve, we cannot guarantee any seating, autographs or giveaway items.

We have a dedicated area for anyone requiring special assistance or mobility requirements for arrival before Show opening. Fans that qualify and are wearing their C2E2 Medical Badge will have access to this area. Please note that a Medical Badge does not grant you early access to the event.
Seating in Panels and Screenings
All of our Panels are very popular and the rooms fill up quickly. All seating for these programs is on a first come, first served basis and we cannot guarantee seating for everyone. When you arrive to line up for a Panel, please proceed immediately to the Panel Room entrance, show your C2E2 Medical Badge and speak with the Crew or Staff Member at the door. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes early to any event you wish to attend.
Qualifying for a C2E2 Medical Badge does not guarantee access into any events. We encourage you to get there early and use your Program Guide to map out what events you would like to experience for the day and we want to make sure that you get to see the Panels that are important to you!
Autograph sessions are always limited, so please use your Program Guide to plan which autographing sessions you would most like to attend. You can have a friend or someone in your party save a spot for you in line, if needed.
McCormick Place – South Building
The McCormick Place South Building has access with automatic doors at Gate 4 for all access with elevators and/or escalator access to the Show Floor close to the entrance. The building is also equipped with restrooms and elevators that are accessible for anyone with mobility impairments. Payphones are accessible and are equipped with volume and TTY capability for those with speech and hearing disabilities.
Wheelchairs/Motorized Chairs McCormick Place has a number of wheel chairs and motorized scooters available for rent. Please call Scootaround Mobility Solutions at 1-888-441-7575 or visit their website at www.scootaround.com/rentals/m/mccormickplace before you arrive for information on reserving or renting a wheelchair or scooter. Scootaround pickup is located next to Gate 4 at the coatroom location.
Accessible parking is available at McCormick Place in Lot A (located on Martin Luther King Drive across the street from access to the South Building), Lot C (located underground in Lakeside Center) and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place parking garage.
Hearing Impaired Services
Fans that are hearing impaired and require special assistance, please contact us prior to the event and advise us of your service need. Please contact Katie Enos for questions and information on how C2E2 can assist you.
Guide Dogs and Service Animals
Guide dogs and service animals are also welcome at McCormick Place provided they are leashed or under similar control. Since questions sometimes arise regarding service animals when the need is not obvious, we suggest that Fans bring a certification license or some other official document demonstrating their need for their service animal with them to the Show. The owner assumes full responsibility of his/her animal.
We offer cold storage containers for medications on a first come, first served basis located in our Show Office area (Room N231), however please be aware that quantities are limited.
