We here at C2E2 want to help you navigate the Show so you have the best first C2E2 experience EVER! Here’s a list of 10 awesome activities to check out while you’re here so you don’t miss any of the exciting content going on all C2E2 weekend long!

Fans with common interests gather together to listen to featured Guests talk about their career experience and even answer your questions! Some Panels teach you skills—like how to write, draw or survive the zombie apocalypse. Others feature the cast and crew of a hit TV show or movie where they show you a behind-the-scenes look at how they created it. They may even let you watch a sneak peek! Panels are even a great way to kick back and relax after walking the Show Floor all day without missing out on the fun.

Snap some photos at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoWhether you take a selfie with a comic creator, snap a pic of some Avengers cosplayers (cosplay stands for costume play and cosplayers are those who participate in dressing up!) or hop in front of the giant C2E2 letters with friends, make sure to capture the fun moments for a scrap book or your social media networks! Commission an Artist at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoThere’s plenty of stuff to take home and cherish after C2E2 is over, but nothing is more unique than an original illustration from one of our Artists in Artist Alley. Love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Game of Thrones? Have an Artist draw Buffy Summers on the Iron Throne! Or better yet request they draw YOU on the Throne while taking out a slew of vampires. The possibilities are endless!

Make new friends in the Fan Village at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoAt C2E2 this year we’re giving Fans a place of their own. The C2E2 Fan Village is a place to meet friends (new & old), play games with one another and to discuss all the things that bring us together—whether that’s includes who’s the best Doctor or if Han really shot first. In between scheduled Fan meet–ups, book discussions, and other gatherings of like–minded pop culture enthusiasts, the Fan Village is also a place where you can recharge your phone battery or sit and take a breather or play. There is so much more to experience here, so be sure to stop by the C2E2 Fan Village in S100A to join in on the fun!

Visit the Family HQ at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoLooking for some family friendly activities? Then the Family HQ at C2E2 is the place to be! C2E2 is packing the Family HQ full of hands-on workshops, interactive activities, arts & crafts and more. Laugh, learn, create and share in family friendly activities all weekeknd long! And on Sunday, April 27, kids take over C2E2. Kids Day is filled with even more family friendly activities including a costume parade for your littlest Jedi, Iron Man and more!

 

8 - Crown Championships of CosplayCrown Championships of Cosplay

C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoPresented by Wikia, the C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay makes its debut in Chicago as the biggest and most prestigious costume contest in the United States. Veterans of the cosplay circuit and amateurs alike will battle it out for a shot at seizing the Crown and over $10,000 in cash and prizes. The contest will feature judges Yaya Han, Ashley Eckstein, Nan Cibula-Jenkins and Austin Scarlett, all whom have prestigious backgrounds in pop culture and costume design. Fans will witness the spectacle and pageantry of a fun-filled competition on Saturday, April 26 on the Main Stage! You don’t want to miss this inaugural event that will surely have Fans everywhere talking.

 

9 - Chill at The BlockChill at The Block

Chill At The Block at C2E2 - Chicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoThe Block at C2E2, located on the Show Floor, brings together art, design, collectible toys and fashion of the underground pop culture scene along with the tastemakers, trend setters, artists, thinkers and the brands that they create.
