Exhibitors - Beware When Booking Your Hotel Rooms!

C2E2 provides you with a dedicated hotel reservation service through our partnership with onPeak.  Although other companies pose as official vendors of C2E2, please note that onPeak is the exclusive official hotel/travel partner of C2E2.  C2E2 cannot guarantee room rates or availability by any other company or representative, and hotel reservations made through any company other than onPeak are at the exclusive risk of the individual.

We have been made aware of instances when attendees and exhibitors have been contacted by illegitimate housing companies, most recently a company has posed as onPeak by calling themselves “One Peak”.  These companies are in the practice of scamming you out of your money.  We have seen instances where the companies have gone out of business after taking a reservation and deposit, leaving individuals without hotel rooms and lost deposits. Therefore we have chosen one sole housing partner and strongly encourage you to book only through onPeak. Other companies to beware of are IEA Event Planning and XMC Hotels.

Finally, in general, please remember that many unscrupulous companies have websites that may look legitimate at first glance.  The websites may even include logos claiming accreditation by or membership of chambers of commerce, the Better Business Bureau and other legitimate associations.  However, a little investigation often reveals that the websites are in fact not accredited or not members, and that they have simply cut and pasted the logos from other websites.
