Excelsior! The legendary co-creator of some of the biggest names in comic book history is making his final C2E2 appearance in 2017. Stan Lee is a household name for so many convention go-ers, as he has an endless list of titles associated with his famous name: writer, editor, producer, actor and many more. Fans will have the opportunity to get to know a bit about the mind behind the X-men, Spider-Man, the Avengers and hundreds of other beloved comic series.

Along with seeing Stan Lee at C2E2, Fans will also be able to hulk out with other mutants and villains about all things Marvel. Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo is the perfect place to show off your best comic book cosplay, browse the massive amount of comic books and collectibles on our Show Floor, and geek out over the timelessness of Marvel’s long-running comic books as well as the relevance of the newest installments of the comic series in the film world. Stan 'the Man' Lee’s influence over comicbooks is incalculable. His co-creations, Spider-Man, X-Men and The Avengers have been monster movie hits, helping make Marvel Comics the leader of the comicbook industry. Some of Stan’s other great co-creations, such as Fantastic Four and Daredevil are now in development, while Iron Man, Thor, and The Avengers have sequels on the way. In 2008, President Bush presented Stan a Medal of the Arts, lauding his amazing career. Stan is currently developing movie and TV projects with his company “POW! Entertainment” while still proudly cherishing the title Chairman Emeritus of Marvel.
