One of the images that usually pops up when people think of cosplay is scantily clad women doing sexy cosplay. Public perception of these outfits can diminish the hard work that goes into them. Revealing cosplay can help people overcome body insecurities and build confidence. This panel looks at how sexy cosplay of all levels can be both empowering and affirming, but can also result in creating unsafe spaces. How do we establish our boundaries and celebrate our bodies at the same time?
