Harassment in Con Spaces: Survivor’s Perspectives

Harassment in Con Spaces: Survivor’s Perspectives

April 07, 2018, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Room S502b – Networking and Portfolio Reviews

This research project from the University of Missouri is focused on learning about people’s experiences at comic-cons who identify as women, trans, gender non-conforming, and non-binary. We would like to especially consider instances of gender-based violence and harassment including but not limited to unwanted touching, suggestive comments, and being followed at the con.

If you have any interest in participating in this project, feel free to reach out to Jim Farley or Chris Walters at farleyj0618@gmail.com or waltersca@missouri.edu.
