C2E2 was thrilled to host the Vintage Toys & Pop Culture Exhibit at the Show this year, brought to us by Blacksparrow Auctions. This exhibit featured one of the largest collections of original Kenner Star Wars action figures, each graded by AFA. The exhibit featured original artwork used for vintage coloring books and jigsaw puzzles (showcasing the Pink Panther, Bugs Bunny, Jonny Quest, The Flintstones, Masters of the Universe, Popeye), original mint condition (in box) Star Trek action figures from the 1960s, Silver Age CGC-graded comics (such as Amazing Spider-Man #1 and Fantastic Four #1) and much more.
The highlight item for the exhibit and the auction was an exceptional rare 1978 Kenner hand-painted hardcopy prototype 15" scale figure of Darth Vader, the ultimate Star Wars collectible.
On Sunday, April 28 Fans had the chance to take home a piece of history at the Vintage Toys & Pop Culture Auction. This live auction included pieces seen in the exhibit as well as pieces that were not displayed.
