HOW TO GET INTO C2E2

In accordance with state and local law and the requirements of the McCormick Place Convention Center, C2E2 requires all attendees, exhibitors, media, guests, and show management staff to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test to enter C2E2. 

“Full vaccination” means that your date of entry to C2E2 is at least 14 days after your final dose of an FDA/WHO approved or authorized vaccine. For our full FDA/WHO approved/authorized vaccine list, please see our Health and Safety FAQs.

For unvaccinated attendees – antigen COVID-19 tests must be taken within 24 hours of the event start time, and PCR COVID-19 tests must be taken within 72 hours of each day of entry to the event.

Individuals 11 years and younger must arrive with proof of a negative COVID-19 test as further described on our website, unless they have gotten fully vaccinated since the age group opened up for vaccinations.

How do I get into C2E2?

To enter C2E2, you will need a wristband to indicate that you have either verified your vaccination status or proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test. 

We have Vaccination & Negative Test Check locations before you reach the entrances for C2E2 that will make it quick and easy for you to verify your vaccination status or proof of negative test and receive your wristband.

  • S100 at Registration: for anyone who has to pick up their badge
  • Queue Hall in North Hall B: for anyone who already has their badge

For fully vaccinated folks: When you arrive at the check location you will be required to show proof of full vaccination. You will then receive a wristband that confirms your vaccination has been checked and will be valid for all the days you’re attending C2E2. 

For unvaccinated folks: When you arrive at the check location you will be required to show proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test The antigen COVID-19 tests must be taken within 24 hours of the event start time, and PCR COVID-19 tests must be taken within 72 hours of each day of entry to the event. You will then receive a daily wristband that confirms your negative tests have been checked. You will have to check in and get a new wristband each morning before entering C2E2.

STEP 1: How to Show Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test

Fully Vaccinated Fans

  • OPTION 1: We’ve partnered with CLEAR Health Pass to create the fastest & easiest way for you to verify vaccination. For more information & how to add a fully vaccinated minor (age 14-17) to your CLEAR Health Pass, please check out our CLEAR Health Pass FAQs. If eligible, do this option today! Right now!

  • OPTION 2: This option is available for fans fully vaccinated outside of the United States, and fully vaccinated fans ages 5 and up.
    • Fans can provide proof of vaccination using one of the following approved methods on-site at C2E2:
      • A Government Issued Vaccination Record (paper or photo)
      • Vax Verify
    • You will present a government-issued photo ID and an approved vaccination record demonstrating proof of Full Vaccination with an authorized or approved vaccine. 

Unvaccinated fans and children under 5

If you are unvaccinated you must provide proof of one of the following each day of the event:

  • negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of entry to each day of the event, or  

  • negative lab PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of entry of each day of the event.

NOTE: The test must be administered by a medical provider. We will not accept at-home or self-administered tests.

STEP 2: Where to Verify and Receive Wristbands

We have two Vaccination & Negative Test Check locations at C2E2. You must stop at one of these two locations to get verified and receive your wristband before entering Will Call or the Queue Hall.

  • S100 at Registration Check Location: for fans who have to pick up their badges

  • Queue Hall in North Hall B Check Location: for fans who already have your badges    

For vaccinated folks: Please keep your wristband on for all the days you’ll be joining us, so that you don’t need to re-verify your vaccination credentials. 

For unvaccinated folks: you will have to check in each day before the show to receive a new wristband.

If you need to pick up your badges, Will Call is also located in S100. You will not be able to pick up your badges PRIOR to visiting the Vaccination & Negative test Check Location. You must do that step first. 

If you already have your badges, you will follow our signage and head to the Queue Hall located in North Hall B to verify your vaccination or negative test check, receive your wristband, and get in line for the show.

CLEAR HEALTH PASS FAQS

C2E2 has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass, to allow for easy, FREE proof of COVID-19 vaccination status and faster entry. To get started, fans aged 18+ can download the CLEAR app and enroll for free.

For the most efficient entry possible, all eligible fans should create a free CLEAR account and upload your proof of vaccination in advance of arrival at the show. Fully vaccinated minors (age 14-17) can be added to your CLEAR Health Pass as described below. 

If you are fully vaccinated and over the age of 18, follow the instructions below to complete your Health Pass:

  1. Download the free CLEAR app and select Create Your Health Pass.

  2. Tap ‘Events’ and scroll down to ‘C2E2 2021’ under ‘Entertainment’.

  3. New members can easily enroll using your government issued ID or as an existing members you can your verify  identity with a quick selfie

  4. Follow the prompts to verify your proof of vaccination

  5. Before you arrive, reopen the Health Pass tile to show your green Health pass and retrieve your wristband from the Vaccine Check Location. Be ready to show security your wristband for faster entry.

If you are a fully vaccinated minor (age 14-17), a parent/guardian must follow the instructions below to complete a Health Pass on your behalf.

Parent/Guardian:

  1. Open the CLEAR app on your device or use this link to download

  2. Tap the Profile icon on the bottom right hand corner

  3. Under the “My CLEAR” section, tap “Minor Accounts”

  4. Complete the enrollment process and then add in the minor’s email address, set up their account, and have them snap a selfie!

For fully vaccinated minors (age 14-17): Once your parent or guardian has set up your CLEAR account, all you need to do is:

  1. Download the CLEAR app on your (minor’s) device

  2. Log in with the email and password your parent or guardian set up with you

    1. Tap the Profile icon on the bottom right-hand corner, tap ‘Account’ and scroll down to ‘Log In’

  3. Tap on ‘Home’ and then the white Health Pass tile and select the ‘C2E2 2021’ tile.

  4. Add your proof of vaccine through the CDC card upload option ONLY

If you are an unvaccinated adult or minor who will be tested for COVID-19, or cannot access the CLEAR app, C2E2 has alternate methods of entry for you.
