HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

We’ve taken proactive steps to implement health & safety requirements to help support a safe and comfortable experience.

Our policies are based on current CDC Guidelines and align with the requirements of McCormick Place and state and local health authorities regarding large indoor events. Currently, verification of vaccination or proof of negative test are not required for admission to the McCormick Place or C2E2. We will continue to monitor the requirements and guidance from state and local health departments.

DAILY HEALTH MONITORING

All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement prior to entering C2E2, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during C2E2 should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to C2E2 who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement.

SANITIZATION AND HYGIENE

C2E2 has worked closely with McCormick Place to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently.

Follow All Signage and Direction from Staff

Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff, including our Safety Ambassadors. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.

COMPLY WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at C2E2.

HEALTH & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Please ensure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to the United States and for travel to the city and state of the event.

Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including the event. Prior to registering for and attending the event, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for PreventionBy attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:

  • That You will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time) and event health-and-safety requirements, including wearing an approved face covering if required;
  • That You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at CDC.gov, including, but not limited to:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing 
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine;
  • That You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol; and

For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please see the event’s terms of participation to confirm the age requirements for entry.

Please do not enter the event or the event venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the venue at the sole discretion of event management.

FACE COVERINGS RECOMMENDED

In accordance with public health guidance, we recommend participants wear a face covering while attending C2E2. Face coverings may be required in some areas of the event. We encourage our participants to follow CDC Guidelines regarding face coverings and maintain up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and ask that anyone who is not up-to-date wear a face covering. 

C2E2 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It is recommended that all participants follow CDC Guidelines regarding face coverings and maintain up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations. Please note that wearing an appropriate face covering is strongly recommended and we ask that anyone who is not up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations wear a face covering at all times. Please note that face coverings may be required per our guests' requests in specific areas of the event.

C2E2 show management partners closely with McCormick Place, local, state, and federal health authorities to maintain a robust operational plan designed to maximize the health and safety of everyone. These Include:

  • Exhibitor guidelines and booth design standards

Everyone in attendance at C2E2 is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation in C2E2, including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement ). A health & safety contact phone number will be clearly noted on signage throughout C2E2 to allow for reporting of any concerns or issues. 

Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion
