Global Champion of Cosplay Named at C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay Competition

Cowbutt Crunchies Cosplaying as Demon Lord Heldasercle Takes Home Crown During Final Stop of 2019 ReedPOP Global Championships of Cosplay
CHICAGO – March 24, 2019 – In front of a packed crowd of fans, cosplay enthusiasts and celebrity judges on Saturday night, ReedPOP, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events, announced the winner of the 2019 C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay presented by SINGER. This was the final stop of the 2019 ReedPOP Global Championships of Cosplay competition circuit and the largest and most prestigious cosplay competition in the world. Regan Cerato, aka Cowbutt Crunchies, who won the inaugural Keystone Championships Of Cosplay in Philadelphia last September, wowed the audience and judges with her stunning Demon Lord Heldasercle cosplay to claim the top prize.
Runner-ups were Kinpatsu Cosplay as Sister of Battle from Warhammer 40k (who was previously named the Africa Champion of Cosplay) and The Dingo Ate My Cosplay as Eriodna from Kings of the Realm (Australian Champion of Cosplay). They split $10,000 in cash and prizes with the winner. Thousands of C2E2 fans watched in person while others from around the world tuned in via the Official C2E2 Livestream on SYFY Wire to cheer on their favorite cosplayers as they vied for the Crown. Competitors battled in front of professional Cosplayers Avantgeek, Yaya Han, and Leeanna Vamp from SyFy’s Cosplay Melee.
